MP3 Strip is the Control Strip Module what lets you playback audio MP3 files. It plays the most popular MPEG Layer 3 audio file format.
Installation
Just drag MP3 Strip onto your Control Strip window or copy it into the Control Strip Modules folder what resides in the System folder. To uninstall MP3 Strip press the Option key and drag MP3 Strip from the Control Strip window to the Trash.

Controls
Select MP3 Disk/Folder
Brings up the Choose dialogue, to select music, disk or folder. Also, you can simply drag disk or folder icon from the Finder to the MP3 Strip window. Slelected disk or folder is saved into the preference file for the Quick Load function. The Quick Load function loads playlist without acces to the media.
Play/Pause
Starts playing the track, or pauses if it is already playing. When one track is played, MP3 Strip automatically advances to the next track in the playlist.
Skip Track
Advances to the next track. If a track is the last one in the playlist the MP3 Strip goes to the first one.
Back Track
Advances to the previous track. If a song is the first track in the playlist MP3 Strip goes to the last track.
Stop
Stops playing the current track.
Eject/Remove/Clear
Ejects the selected disk or removes the folder from the playlist. Clear function delete preference file what contains playlist associated with selected folder or disk. To select Clear option press Command key and click on the MP3 Strip icon.
Repeat None/Repeat One/Repeat All
Selects repeat mode. None - don’t repeat tracks. One - repeat one track. All - repeat all tracks.
Normal/Random/Intro
Selects play mode. Normal - plays tracks continuously. Random - plays tracks randomly. Intro - plays tracks continuously for 10 seconds.
Actions
Adjusting Volume
To adjust volume press the Control key and click on the MP3 Strip icon.
Selecting Album
To select Album for playback just choose the Album name form a menu.
Selecting Track
To select a track for playback just choose the Track name form a submenu.
Opening Source Disk/Folder
To open the selected disk/folder just select first menu item.
Reveal Album in Finder
To reveal Album location in Finder select the Album name form a menu with the Command key pressed.
Reveal Track in Finder
To reveal Track location in Finder select the Track name form a submenu with the Command key pressed.
Preferences
To open the Preferences menu press the Shift+Control keys and click on the MP3 Strip icon.
Sorting order
Selects sorting order for MP3 files. By Albym - sort files by Album name using description from MP3 file (if available). By Artist - sort files by Artist name using description from MP3 file (if available). By Folder - sort files by Folder name (names of the Tracks are obtained from the description of the MP3 file (if available)).
Keyboard commands
Control+Command - ‘8’ - Play/Pause
Control+Command - ‘5’ - Stop the current Track
Control+Command - ‘4’ - Skip to the next Track
Control+Command - ‘6’ - Back to the previous Track
Control+Command - ‘+’ - Volume Up
Control+Command - ‘-’ - Volume Down
